Family Wohlfahrt and the whole team that supports us throughout the year is endeavored around the clock trying to make your holiday as comfortable and familiar as possible.
The history of our Family Gasthof Thomann begins in 1975!

Hans and Gertraud Wohlfahrt opened next to the existing agriculture a small snack bar. Particularly well received by the local youth it developed into a nightclub in 1977 corresponding with music box and phonograph.

After 10 great years of success they decided to expand the house for the tourism. The building was completed in 1993 with about 40 beds and a large dining room.

All those years we have placed great importance on our local cuisine with products from our own production.

Until 1998 Gertraud Wohlfahrt cooked alone and then got the active support from her second son, Jürgen Wohlfahrt, who learned his cooking skills at Warmbaderhof in Villach.

A few years Hans Wohlfahrt also got support from his daughter Kerstin and daughter in law Nadia, who both graduated from the high school at the HBLA LEW Pitzelstätten in Klagenfurt.

The eldest son, Horst Wohlfahrt extended his culinary skills across Austria in different companies, and now lives with his family in Maria Taferl (NÖ).

From many other ideas in 1996 he emerged his two ice rinks, the natural ice rink and in 2005 a passenger lift and a wheelchair-accessible apartment.

At the moment the business with Jürgen and Nadja and their son Patrick goes into the 2nd generation.
